But this team is going to struggle to win alot of games!We hired a coach (Jeff Capel)who I like to turn around this program & it looked like he did,but then last year the wheels fell off.So OU is now in another rebuilding season of the basketball program with the same Coach.Is every Sooner fan happy or just delusional????????GO SOONERS!!!!!!!

Thanks for reminding us who we hired as coach in those parentheses, it wasn't obvious without you mentioning it (just kidding we already know who the coach is bro!). This is a rebuilding year. Last year was not. It was more of a "things can fall apart fast" year, showing us how unstable the ground beneath us is that a few bad breaks could ruin us. Were you drunk when you wrote this? Using a lot of ?s and !s is a red flag.

How sad must a life be to take the time to get on the internet, log-in on this site, and type a post of nothing but negatives. If we suck, we suck. We get Osby and Goff after this season to throw into the mix with what were pretty highly recruited guards. Yes we are rebuilding, just like any other team that lost three underclassmen to professional aspirations.
Just to be clear, and this comes from about as well placed a source that you can find on the situation, but "that coach we hired" isn't going anywhere as much as you and a few others really, really, really want it to happen. Hate to burst the haters bubbles, but it is true. I've gotten an email from Joe C. that has said as much, email him yourself, I expect he'll answer and say the EXACT same thing he said to me.

How can you burst a teams bubble when they haven't played a single game? Have you guys actually seen this team play? I have faith that Capel can get guys to play together. Last years group was a lost cause because we recruited guys that were not good team players like TMG and Tiny that couldn't play team ball and were cancers. We are better off without most of those players.

If OU has another .500 season, why should Capel still be the coach a year from now? Maybe my expectations are too high for the program, but the direction it is headed is not good. I hope Capel proves me wrong this season and turns things around but I am tired of supporting a team that has no direction at the top.

Calvin Simpson. BTW I think Capel is a better game coach than people give him credit for. So I think we'll be good enough to where we aren't even discuss this.
Who kidnapped Nick and replaced him with this guy? Now to be sure, I hope this isn't all a set up for the coach sucking because we didn't finish in the op 6.
