Being optimistic JUST to be optimistic is dumb.

Ditto being overly pessimistic when you haven't seen the team in action.

And those aren't the only two options open to us, in any case. There's a wide range of options in between.

I believe they do have some open practices for the media.
But that isn't what he meant. There was a lot of talk of the Defense being good. From the coaches, the players, from the scrimmage notes,etc.

they get to watch stretching for a very very short portion of time ..

Like all fans, I hope this team is much better defensively (it's going to have to be to win games) but at the same time, until it IS better, it's easy to be skeptical.

LK can coach defense....the question is who will ultimately buy in when it comes to game time.

It’s premium information over on OU Insider, but Brandon Drumm had a practice report up. Nothin really earth shattering about the team this year. He did have a couple of quotes in there from Muni and Odomes talking about how good Austin Reaves is. (Transfer from Wichita State). I guess he’s tearing it up in practice.
