So, Creighton is not a great defensive team. But they certainly can score it.

What worries me about this game is that we haven't had time to get our offensive flow together. I think the Thomas situation has set us back with him practicing with first team -- then not -- then jumping into a game.

We need time to get some flow going. I think we're going to have to attack the paint if we want to beat Creighton ... and defend at a really high level.

Got to contest the perimeter shot like madmen!

We gave up the corner three yesterday ... that's a shot that worries me.

I realize the opponent is different, but so far we've given up 25, 15 and 15 % in the three games to this point from 3 pt range. MUCH better than last year.

Defending the three will be important, especially when Zierden is taking the shot. They have a half dozen other guys who shoot three pointers, but based on what I saw in portions of their game last night, I didn't see anyone, nor do their stats through two games indicate, that they're capable of burning up the nets from three.

Creighton definitely has a scrappy bunch that likes to go to the offensive boards. Artino, in particular, is a good rebounder who is averaging 9 boards per game, half of them on the offensive end. So, our players will have to do a better job of blocking out to eliminate second chance points. They didn't do that against SE Louisiana, and the result was a closer rebounding margin than it should have been.
