Great game; just wish it had ended differently. What makes it suck is this guy..... :vitale

I don't think this was a bad played game. Both teams have played well.

Heyward barely missed that shot.

I didn't say that it was badly played. What I was saying was that it was an extremely physical, no-holds-barred knock-down drag out game. Extremely competitive. Every time Duke threatened to pull away, here came Butler!

I would have LOVED to have seen Hayward's final shot go in; another 2" lower off the backboard it would have missed the front of the rim and gone down for a helluva 3 point winner.

Too bad, d#$#$@ Duke wins...:(

I thought Jimmy Chitwood was going to bank that shot in. Damn.

Love Butler, they had their shot, if they played 10 games I think Butler would win at least 4 of them.

Just channel your inner Charlie Conway and remind yourself that if it had been 2" higher it would have missed the rim completely.

Hope all you haters enjoyed the game!

I would agree with that. Butler's mid-major status and ridiculous 5 seed made this seem much more like a David/Goliath matchup than the actual players on the court. Duke was a top 5 team this year and Butler was a top 10 team. Not much difference in my opinion.

Duke was preseason 8 and Butler was preseason 10. Pretty evenly matched teams.

2 points was the difference in the game. Refs cost Butler 2 points on that horrible charge call. I know there were a lot of other plays in this game, but what a difference maker that call was

Butler should have had 2 free throws to take the lead with 34 seconds left when Zoubek elbow-tackled Howard going for the rebound that he eventually kicked out of bounds.

someone shoot me. please. worst sports year I can remember in a long long time.

Maybe that was because Howard was pulling and holding BZ all game (including that play). Scheyer was also fouled on at least 2 three pointers that I remember. Refs let a TON of things go last night on both ends of the court. It was frustrating.
