Sam has been all over the region scouting and evaluating Oklahoma talent and creating Youtube highlights to go along with his evaluation. He has captured video of some of the top players in the state and he has also shown love to typical hard working high school kids who don't get the press like the higher regarded players get. Sam is quickly gaining respect nationally and in my opinion is a young superstar for this genre. Here are some examples of his work and also some players to watch for the next couple of years in the state:

This was an event that Sam and I put on in Douglass. Maybe the most prep talent on a floor in Oklahoma this years. Noteable players who may end up on OU or other high major radars are Jordan Woodard of Edmond Memorial who is high on OU's radar, Stevie Clark of Douglass who was one of the top performers at Peach Jam and 6'8 Matt Christiansen of McGuiness, who has committed to San Francisco. There is also a couple of young stars who could be on the national radar soon in Shaquille Morris, a 6'7 standout from Edmond Santa Fe and Jacob Hammonds, a raw 6'8 1/2 2014 kid from Duncan.

This is footage of Athletes First in Dallas this spring.

This is footage of the top players in 2012 at the Sooner Cager Classic. One notable player is Phabian Glasco, a 6'6 pf from Booker T. Washington, who was one of the top rebounders per minute at the Peach Jam. He is a mid major level player. James Woodard is also featured and he has recently picked up an offer from Vanderbilt. Woodard is a kid that I feel has his best basketball in front of him.

This is a collection of highlights caught recently in Tulsa of maybe the best AAU team in the state, the Oklahoma Elite. This is a group of kids who play solid fundamental basketball and already has won the Next Level Tournament in Dallas and the Metro Sports Classic in Kansas City.

This is footage from 6'9 Dre Wright of Lawton Ike. Wright missed 2011 due to a broken leg, but recently has seen his stock soar with offers from TCU, Clemson, Wichita State, SMU, and Tulsa to name a few. Wright is on the Sooners radar and if he were a 2013 recruit, he definetely would have already been offered a scholarship.

This is the Top 20 game, a game for the top performers at the recent OKHoops exposure event. There may be more future stars on this film than all of the films collected above. 2014 Tulsa Union standouts Kevin Sims and Jeff Mead and 2015 standouts 6'7 Douglass Moore and 6'1 Curran Scott are players we expect to hear a lot from.

Wish we had room to offer/take Dre Wright and James Woodard right now.

I may be the biggest fan of the footage that OKHoopstv is putting out. There has been a ton of feedback from college coaches about the website and the content from college coaches. I'm pretty sure that OU and other programs have found out about kids like James and Jordan Woodard, Dre Wright, Shaquille Morris, etc, through this website and the new OKHoops website.

I encourage all readers of this board to visit both websites frequently as Sam and I will continue to bring you as much content on OU and prep basketball as possible.

Both Sam and William are out there working their tails off. So proud of what we (mostly Sam, William and several others) have built here at OUHoops and are building at OKHoops.

Remember us little people when you're famous, Sam!

No doubt!!!!!!

Good job by the way Sam. I remember when you 1st began to cover Oklahoma Hoops, and it is pretty impressive how far you have come in your pursuits. Keep up the good work young man.:clap:clap

Hopefully, I can speak for everybody when I say we're extremely grateful, and their contributions are very much appreciated. Great work, guys!

Will, in your conservations with Dre Wright, has he ever mentioned prep school as an option if he doesn't get offer he might be looking for? He seems like somebody who would be a perfect candidate for prep school with the fact that he lost his junior year (plus OU would have more room for him in '13). Just curious if this has been mentioned.

I think its been discussed but unless something changes Wright will be a 2012 recruit. He seems happy with his current list of offers and it looks like Tulsa and TCU are out in front for his services.

I'm proud to say that I had an hand in the development of this site, but Sam and William have taken it to a whole new level.

Great job, guys, and congrats on the success of OKHoops.com!!! :clap
