If this is too off topic and no one cares feel free to delete this and yell at me...but this is so magnificent/horrifying that it felt necessary to post here and see what everyone thinks.

Oregon Unveils New Court

Deep in the woods? I thought Ducks lived on ponds/lakes?

Or are they saying their court is a pond in the woods?

What is it with the Pacific NW teams and their horrible playing surfaces (looking at you Boise)?

Thats awesome. Pacific Northwest, known for its logging. We need a new court, give people something to look at besides the empty seats and team on the floor.

Here's a link with a picture of the court (not a drawing of it): http://kezi.com/news/local/194284

I actually like it. But I also think Texas A&M's court is great and a lot of people consider it among the worst.

Probably harder for the refs than for the players.

Is that real or something someone created on their computer?

If it's real, it must have been Nike's idea.

Include Eastern Washington with their red field now, too.

Its real, they are really going to play major conference division one basketball on that court. And I for one think its awesome

i didn't know Nike had a "distressed" line. must be working off the Abercrombie model of pay more for something new that looks old.

the old "instant character" or in this case, tradition...hard work...i don't know...lot's of history etc.

They deserve to have every game they play stopped 10 times because the officials have to go to instant replay to see if it was a 3 or a 2.

It looks like there was a leak in the roof at midcourt and they have water damage on the court. That's horrible.

I hate watching A&M games almost as much as BSU football games. Their court is reflective and it hurts my eyes.

The Oregon court is pretty cool, but at the same time its hideous. They are going to have a lot of trouble with the three-point line.
