Original NET rankings out...............ouch

On the bright side, we are undefeated against Q-4 teams!

Marquette has tons of work to do to get to Q-2.

Stinks to be 94 and still playing several more games against teams way below us. Oh well, just find a way to win tomorrow for starters and it helps a little bit.

18/23 are 1's and 2's.

Plenty. Just take care of business in conf. 50% of the time and youre in... I expect better than 50% though

The SEC is definitely down this year. This may be Moser’s best chance to get over .500 since he’s been at OU. But, I think .500 or better is a must for getting in. No more 7, 8 wins conference seasons. That’s assuming OU splits the next two.

According to Kenpom, the SEC is still the best conference from a metrics standpoint, but not as commanding as last year. It doesn't seem like it would be the best conference (from the "eye" test, I would slightly favor the Big 10) probably because, as of now, there doesn't seem to be any dominant-type teams like last year. Florida, Bama, Auburn, and Tennessee were all in Kenpom's top 6 last year; the highest rated Kenpom SEC team currently is Vandy at #7 and the next one is Florida at #12. It appears the really good teams have somewhat "come back to the pack". The other factor is that even the bad teams in the SEC aren't exactly gawd-awful in terms of their metrics.....USCe is #90 and Mississippi State is #77. Every other SEC team is top 57.

Good points.

Let’s say OU splits the next two games and goes 10-3 in nonconference. Not awful but certainly not as good as the last two years. I think 10 wins in conference to get to 20 wins is probably the magic number.
