Osby to Magic

A Sooner drafted to my favorite NBA team. What a wonderful night.

Very glad to see this -- nice going, Romero!

This is the best news I've had today!

Congrats, Romero!!! Sooner fans are proud of you!

Cannot begin to describe how happy I am for Ro. We couldn't ask for a better OU representative as a person in the NBA. I guess the scouts liked his cute basketball pumps and realized he could ball, no matter his height. Can't wait to watch this guy carve out an NBA career.

Good for R Osby. Hope he makes the squad and has a great career.

Good for Ro. That dude has worked his butt off since the season ended. Hope he finds a way to stick around.

Roe put the work in and got rewarded. What a wonderful example of what an OU student athlete should strive to be. I haven't ever been more proud or happy for a former Sooner than I am for Mr. Osby.

He has a shot now. He went to a bad team. He will probably get a chance to stick over some of the ones that have been around and getting them beat. Good for him and good luck.

Yes! Ro is a great young man that continues to work his tail off to achieve his dream. Best wishes Mr. Osby! You set a wonderful example to your younger OU teammates. You showed them all what a student-athlete can be.

Good luck. God Bless.

I never had the opportunity to meet Romero, but all I've heard and read makes me believe he is a fine young man. What I do know about Ro is that he is a great competitor and a much better pro prospect than he's ever been given credit for. I predict he'll stick with the Magic and have a good, if not great, NBA career.

I see him having a similar career to Eduardo. Works his tail off and is skilled enough to hang around for 10+ years and help teams win games
