OSU and Texas tonight

OSU looking solid tonight and this year thus far....although UCONN looks like a dumpster fire. OSU has more than a few scorers and look to be improved overall now that they have a decent coach.

Texas is really struggling with Northwestern....currently down by 17 early in the 2nd. It seems "havoc" doesn't work as well when you're playing against a disciplined team.

If OSU hits the 3 like they did last night, I think their game with UNC will go down to the wire.

And Texas looked awful last night. But I do expect them to get better by conference time.

The media (many coaches too) will always put UT ahead of us in the preseason rankings. But as long as Lon remains our coach – and the UT culture remains unchanged – OU will always be the better team.

Texas down 31-20 to Colorado at the 3 minute mark of the first half. Grand total of 1 assist in 17 minutes. Banks not playing due to throwing a punch yesterday.

Texas loses 68-54. Didn't see any of the game, but looks like that they were down pretty much the entire game. Not impressed with them thus far.

I think OSU will be good this year. They will struggle with the teams that can really bully them inside, but that will be few and far between in CBB. Their backcourt is going to give teams nightmares, and they've signficantly upgraded the coaching position.

Looks like the so-called "experts " got it wrong again. Teams ranked that high don't struggle to beat Incarnate Word at home, and then lose to two unranked teams by 19 and 14 on consecutive nights.

So far, you're right on the money Byron. Outside of KU and maybe Purdue, I don't know of any frontline in the nation that can match up very well with UNC. They are huge and athletic.

And Indiana goes down at Fort Wayne (formerly IPFW - Indiana University & Purdue University at Fort Wayne) 71-68 in OT. These kinds of results always leave you scratching your head. Indiana should win this game 10 out of 10 times, but why would you schedule it?.....all risk/no reward.

Yeah, well, UNC will do that to a lot of people! They would have beaten OU like a drum, as well! OSU has good players, especially Evans (he will be a nightmare to play, as he was last year). They are not a bottom-dweller, and may, at this point, be better than OU (at this point is the key phrase, because OU will get better throughout the season). Just my opinion.

I dont see why anyone would think OSU is better than OU. They are basically a one man team, nothing inside. The inside game isnt getting better this year. Ill take us over them anyday.

Because they don't have a propensity to blow 18 point leads in 10 minutes...like I said, that will change come February. But for now, I think their offense is better than ours. Their 1 is AMAZING! He had 30 in that game.
