looks like you could have saved all that money on upper deck seats because I see about 5-6,000 there today (and that is a big crowd this year).

I am glad OU has Kruger as he will have our program in the NCAA's in the next two years and stable every year after that.
For OSU, they will have to put up with Ford for one or two more years before they can afford to fire him because Holder was DUMB in giving him the long term contract.

Both teams suck this year BUT OU is on the way up and OSU is stagnant or on their way down - just waiting to fire their guy.

It is funny watching OSU fans (5,000 of them) act so excited to beat a poor Texas team to get within one game of being .500, IMO. The other night Missouri had them down 35 before they set their starters down and took their foot off the gas.

Lulz.

Whatever makes you feel better.

One team has beaten two upper-division Big 12 teams, including a top 5 team.

The other lost to the worst team in the conference... a team that will likely only win 1 conference game all year.

Clearly the second team is the one "going in the right direction."

OSU is a decent team this year, it's just that no one realizes it because of their awful start. Both OU and OSU will make the tournament next year.

I don't agree with calling out OSU's program at this time, but LOL at the thought of these teams going in different directions. LK will get us turned around, of that I am sure. Ford has done nothing, this season included, that would make me comfortable with him as my head coach, if I were an OSU fan.

Are you still celebrating your regular season record? Thats classic. Youre a whole 3 games behind us in conference. OSU has improved while OU has taken a nosedive of biblical proportions from being 9-1 to 13-13 incuding losing 12 of your last 16, 6 recent losses in a row total, and even 4 losses in a row at home. Lets not forget one of the most embarrassing losses in conference history in Lubbock.

Shouldnt you still be debating your possible NCAA chances? I mean, you guys were 9-1 right??

You didn't beat Mizzou because you're better than OU.

You beat Mizzou because Mizzou decided not to show up to Stillwater.

Considering the most recent meeting between the two, I wouldn't try to use that game as evidence that OSU's headed in the right direction.

It cracks me up that any OU FAN would start a post to talk about how bad any other program is when OU is on a 6 game losing streak and we are the only team that lost to Texas Tech in conference.

So it doesn't count if one team isn't ready to play? This just sounds like sour grapes to me. I'm not saying OSU is as good at Missouri, but that was a good win for them. What if I said OSU wasn't ready to play at Missouri, so you shouldn't count that win either.

lol...

No one said the win didn't count.

But if you're going to act like that win is an indicator that you're somehow headed in the right direction (and OU is floundering) you're going to look like a fool.

That win means about as much for OSU as Texas Tech's 2009 demolition of kansas meant for them.

Had that same Mizzou team shown up to Norman or College Station, OU or A&M would have a win of their own over a top 5 team. That win wasn't about OSU, and you trying to make it about OSU is ridiculous. So yeah, it counts. But be realistic about what that game means.

OSU won today and is playing much better than OU in conference play. I don't see the point of insulting OSU at this point.

The point is...this vinny guy is grasping at straws to try to make himself feel better about today. "I'll show them OSU fans to celebrate winning a game!"

So you think OU is better than OSU, Sawyer?

And also, Sawyer, OSU, a team starting three freshmen, and a sophomore and beating a top 5 team means ABSOLUTELY nothing, in neither the present or past? No indicator of ANYTHING?

I think any difference at this point is minimal. Both have different strengths/weaknesses.

My point here is pretty much only that it's ridiculous for an OSU fan to crow about anything at this point. Ford's been at OSU for four years, and he's won fewer games each consecutive season. OU just dealt with two of its worst seasons in modern history and has a new coach, and as bad as things still are, they're better than they were. If either of the two teams is in position to boast about the future, I'd give that edge to OU.

Really, 13-14 is a "decent team" LOL - what a fool if you really believe that - OSU AND OU suck goofy people.

OSU has improved - really? You are talking about the OSU team who just 4 days ago was down by 35, yes 35, to Missouri before MO took out their starters. Getting your rearends slaughtered is "improving". Put down the hard booze and sober up and then come back. What a JOKE!!!!!! They and OU suck - just admit it, LOL.
