OSU is very good

I enjoy being wrong in this instance.

You weren't that far off at the time. This is not the same OSU team as the one we saw back then.

Obviously, losing Cobbins dealt the Pokes a huge blow, bigger than I could have imagined it would be. But, there is more to it than that. OSU still has more than enough talent to compete with anyone in the Big 12. Smart is an almost certain high first round pick, although his performance and his behavior of late is burning first round dollars at an alarming rate. If the draft was held today, I think Nash and Brown would be no worse than the second round.

So, you have to ask yourself, how in the heck can a team with three future NBA players play so poorly at times? The only answer I can think of is coaching. It's also possible this team may be made up of a mix of talented players who don't play together well. Is that coaching, too, or is it just poor timing?

I have said this before but I'll repeat it. This OSU team reminds me of OU's 2009 (I think that was the season) team that had three McDonald's AA on the roster. The talent was there. They just didn't play well together. Truth is, they didn't even like each other.

One thing for sure, there is something horribly wrong in Stillwater right now. Not only is the team not the same, Marcus Smart is not the same player as he was a few weeks ago.
