This is probably the best OSU team since the John Lucas - Joey Graham - Tony Allen team.

Killing everybody. Between Smart, Brown, Williams, and Forte their guard play is the best in college basketball.

And although several posters on this forum refuse to acknowledge them as a contender, they are definitely looking the part of a Final Four team at this point. I would like to see how they play against teams who have legitimate 4s and 5s because they do lack some size inside. Other than that, I don't see much of a weakness with them.

Some of us have been saying that anything less than a Final Four is under-achieving. That is what I believe at least.

I just want to see them prove it. That's all...I'm not downplaying their POTENTIAL, nor are many on this board. Heck, we doubted Kelvin until he made the first Sweet Sixteen run because he couldn't win in the post-season. Until they show they can do it against Big 12 competition night in and night out, I'll be a bit skeptical. That's all.

I said they were too good for Napoleon to screw up - I stand by that.

to clarify, I wasn't pointing fingers at anyone who has responded on this thread.:D

They are a really good team this year....which will make it that much sweeter when we hand them an "L".

I think this is a profound statement. The inside game is the most concerning. Cobbins has bulked up this year and does have a long wing span so we shall see. When they meet a KU, UK, or a Duke that have legit bigs that will tell the tale.

Is it wrong for me to want someone besides KU to win the Big 12 in basketball for once, even if it's not us?

I have never had a problem admitting osu was good. They are great this year and deserve recognition.

I think some OU fans, including myself to some extent, got tired of the its an Eddie Sutton team and they have to be better the OU mentatlity we got from the media in the local area. So sometimes we like to wait until they prove it before we give it up to them. But that may have also been the case with Billy Ball, not old enough to remember or care about media at that time.

I would still rather KU win the Big 12 than the Sheepherders.

No, however I don't want it to ever be osu or texas

Yahtzee!

Again, I'm befuddled by the concern so often expressed here -- by aggies and even by certain of our own fans -- that we're not giving oswho enough credit.

Why in the world is this an issue, especially among our own fans? Has the orange-clad clown posse ever given us due credit in any sport? Of course not, and who in the world gives a rat's behind?

I couldn't care less if the aggies appreciate what we accomplish, and I can't imagine they much care what we think (those who regularly come here being the strange exceptions).

I don't credit or discredit their team. It's a situation where I only care what OU is doing. I'm excited to see what Lon Kruger can do with our program. So far, I'm liking what I'm seeing.

Yep.

I had respect for MSU's guardplay but I dont think their guards are better than OSUx's.

Max Power! He's the man, Whose name you'd love to touch! But you mustn't touch. His name sounds good in your ear, but when you say it, you mustn't fear!

:D

happy thanksgiving eve everyone. I promise to hold out for an OU big 12 championship and not settle for "not ku" :)
