Bob's loyal to a fault and was reluctant to fire people. He waited 3 (at least)years too long to start and it cost us dearly. I think Sherri suffers from the same problem but her people are good enough to keep us where we are just not good enough to get us to the next level. Atlanta is spot on.

Do you follow recruiting on twitter for any sport?
It's huge in football recruiting and basketball recruiting.
It's practically destroying the recruiting web sites.
Bob's presence has increased exponentially the last 2 years who cares who is actually doing it. The twitter handle is Bob Stoops official . Same for Lon.
Both Lon and Bob post "Boom" when OU gets a verbal commitment.
Sherri?? it's all on Pam Decosta.

And yes you are right. Twitter will give way to something else.
But Sherri's nowhere right now. Nowhere.
By not using Twitter is not letting her fans help in recruiting.

It's a stubborn misguided decision.
Bob learned the lesson the hard way.

"But, I expect improvement, and I don't think we are that far from a Final Four team."
You predicted/projected about the future team.

Should OU make the NCAA tourney every year?

Should OU compete for a Big 12 title every year? (at least within 2 losses of conference champs
in loss column)

Should OU win 2 NCAA tourney games every year?

In a four year cycle should OU win the Big 12 conference at least once?

In a four year cycle should OU make a run to the Elite 8 at least once?

I really don't know the women game that well, all I see when Uconn, ND and teams at the level and then see OU play..there are worlds of difference in talent. Those teams I mention have athletes. OU to my eye have girls playing basketball. It's kinda like watching Jenks then going and watching Pocola play football. But like I said I don't know the women game of BB that well.
