OU ended the half on a 30-12 run to close the gap to a one point Bama lead at halftime.

First game of the year with a backcourt made up of 2 freshmen and 3 sophs. We've got talent at the guard positions. Spangler and Bennett have talent...we need some post depth and some experience.

A couple of thoughts. Bama is having some problems with OU's full court press. If we continue to shoot well so we can press after the makes, I think we'll eventually gain the upper hand.

OU has also been the beneficiary of the way the rules are being enforced now. Guess Bama didn't get the memo about hand checking.
