Sisters?
I don't, in the overall, think the foul calls had much to do with our inability to score or defend. I agree that there were a half dozen times that Baylor hacked the crap out of our girls on their shots, but that doesn't equate to a 30 point victory margin.
Ortiz had a great game offensively but was poor often on defense.
Maddie and Peyton just aren't superstars in big, tough games -- Maddie much more than Peyton.
I'd have to look at the stats, but I think Peyton is beginning to have some shooting woes again, perhaps. She is taken out of much of the game. A lot of the time Maddie just still takes herself out.
I thought that the girls fought hard through most of the game, but they just aren't good enough to compete at the top level.
I suspect that will begin to change next year with better recruits coming in and Mulkey having a year of experience.
But that girls has to put on some muscle, build some strength and toughen up her grip or she won't reach the heights we all hope she will.
We are going to lose 3-4 more games and we just better get ready for it.

Unbelievable revelations.
Here is one comment that could make someone wonder how prevalent - and widespread - that fanaticism is at Baylor.
Thursday's legal filing recounts a meeting that Baylor alumni and donors had with regents, who were unwilling to share more details of the investigation, citing privacy concerns. It states that the regents tried to explain why they couldn't keep people whom they found responsible for Title IX failure because that would not uphold the "mission of the university." It quotes a donor as responding, "If you mention Baylor's mission one more time, I'm going to throw up. ... I was promised a national championship."
I simply could not believe anyone stated such a thing as that.
Was doing radio today and heard about this. They hold the 25 percent in trust and once it's all "decided" Baylor could get the money back, right?
What about the damage the scandal has caused? Isn't that worth some Big 12 Pain and Suffering payment?
Keep the dang money!

Accreditation probation?
Yes what is going on at Baylor is a big ole mess, but I don't think it has anything to do with OU@ Baylor... I think a few poster hate Kim's blood because she has her team as the top dog in the big 12... and will look for anything they can to make her out to be a monster. With the Texas win at Baylor, if Texas goes undefeated in conference for the next 3 years, I'm sure someone here will find any dirt they can on the program to justify nothing to do with basketball other then Sherri is having a hard time beating Baylor and Texas...
I noticed that this tread has been growing since the OU @Baylor game... I thought it was still about basketball, but instead it has nothing to do with Women's college basketball... a new thread should have been started and labeled OFf topic Baylor situation.
Who would pay extra money to watch Syb and Kim duke it at out center court when Baylor comes to town in a few days?
I'm giving 5 to 1 on Mulkey in a butt-whipping for the ages.
I still can't believe some of you think that we despise K. Mulkey just because of the recent record. It has a lot more to do with her bad behavior, and not just where OU is concerned. :facepalm
It has never occurred to some OU fans and all of Baylor fans that we don't hate, or despise which is the more appropriate term, Geno, Muffit, or any of the other coaches who have beaten OU. If this were a separate thread, there would be objections that we paid too much attention to Baylor. If this is included in an existing thread, it is hijacking. This is about the only board that doesn't have a running thread on the evils of all things Baylor, whether it be football, sports, or political.I still can't believe some of you think that we despise K. Mulkey just because of the recent record. It has a lot more to do with her bad behavior, and not just where OU is concerned. :facepalm
