OU @ Baylor 6pm CST on ESPN2

Cortes is going to be a good one in time, but tonight he doesn't have much of a chance defensively against Akinjo......that dude is a baller.

Learning experience if nothing else but keep battling and see what happens.

Baylor just has too many horses. If we finish the game within 10 points of them it will be a good game for us.

If they called Gibson for carrying that Baylor guard been doing same thing. He just quicker at it.

I can only imagine how many posts there would be calling the team soft if this defensive and rebounding performance had happened last year. The offensive execution has been tremendous, which makes the turnovers even more frustrating. When we take care of the ball, we are scoring almost every time. Turnovers are going to cost us so many games if we can’t get it fixed.

Yep. Turnovers are an issue with this team

Got it under 10 with that play by Bijan. Still Baylor is too good.

Feels good to be only down 9. Really impressed with Baylor. They are hard to guard

He is. Just there will be a learning curve and some bumps. He had some tough TOs but has had some great assists

He’s at least a year away. The fact that he’s playing major minutes tells you how thin we are at guard.

Score difference is not too surprising but I didn’t think we would give up 45. We shouldn’t have either.

We’ve had some good moments on offense and still shooting 68%. 9 turnovers by us and 6 offensive rebounds by them gave them some easy buckets; and they were already hitting open shots.

There quickness has forced us to speed up and hurt ourselves with those bad TOs but I think that is just from not playing that level of competition yet. By the end of conference play I think we will eliminate those mistakes as we get used to the pace in the conference. I thought we got called for a couple of cheap fouls that held back our aggressive nature afterwards. Particularly the 3rd on Goldwire where player falls down, oh well we just have to learn to expect that on the road. I do like the resolve that Moser instills, it will help in this brutal conference schedule.

Well, we turned it over a ton in the nonconference, so I’m not as optimistic it’s just a matter of Baylor being a step up in competition.

Fran said that a Baylor player has “educated feet.”

What? Lol

Baylor getting away with some touch fouls that we did not.
