Some teams rack up a lot of wins early but then don't improve much during the season. MSU really got better during the season. The #7 ranking is not unreasonable if it is based on how well teams were playing in March, at the end of the season.

I think of polls as a ranking of the entire season, but weighted toward the end.

I just don't think MSU's close win against UVA overcomes a difference of 8 losses, and I don't think they should be above Villanova, either. They're sandwiched between 3 and 4 loss teams, so that just seems weird to me.

i think MSU at 7 is OK with me.

end of the year, they had the parts in place. made the Final Four. beat 3 teams seeded above them.

i think 13 is about right for us.

when the sweet 16 is something to complain about for OU hoops, let me know.

ISU ranked below WVU seems a little foolish to me....but who knows all this nonsense about rpi, top 25, final season ranked on either season performance or dance results.

as long as recruits are seeing us up there i guess it's ok.
