Zero ball movement. Lon needs an offensive coordinator! Manek is hot but we have no sets to have him run off screens for a shot. I can count on one finger the number of plays we have run for Manek this year ( final shot game winner vs UCF)

Nice of the team to free up our Saturday nights by putting themselves out of the game by halftime.

Frustrating not to build on the road win in Austin, just gotta come out and beat Kansas on Tuesday.

ISU Shot 53% though! And they made 6-15 threes
We got our asses kicked on the board though. We had 9 rebs, 0 offensive rebounds compared to 17 rebs for ISU, 5 offensive rebounds.

Our defense has been terrible but we can’t score, and that is really killing us

Now halfway through the season, I would like to know any one facet of the game that this team does well. All I can come up with is that they make FTs. They are an average P-5 defense (at best). Even on Kruger's best teams, they were still pretty average at guarding the perimeter. And this team is far from one of Kruger's best.

Offense is hit or miss while going long stretches without running any semblance of a system/sets. You can get away with that if you get hot or get to the FT line, but against good defensive teams or teams that mix defenses, you're in trouble. Way too much YMCA ball too often.

I thought this team might have begun to turn a corner, but that appears to be fools gold.

First half scoring: Manek has 11, Doolittle 7 and Bieniemy 4. No one else with more than 2. Not a single point off of the bench?

That was the sad, pathetic story of our offense in that half. I don’t want to think about our defense.

This was going to be a tough game to win anyway ISU is well coached, Hilton is a tough place to win, ISU is fighting hard not to go 0-3 in the conference, 2 straight road game for young team. Being down isn't surprising, the effort, especially on the defensive end is surprising. Hopefully, they come out of the half ready to play d and protect the ball better.
