I understand Spangler doesn't want to get called for fouls cause he's important while rebounding...but some defensive effort would be nice. Just lets guys blow by him alot. You can play smart defensively without having to just step out of a guys way and let him have a clear lane to the basket.

He needs to watch film from last year of his rebounding position if he wants to take this team to the next level.. cost us games last year

Jeez, everything that can go wrong is going wrong.

We should never have scheduled this as our first game. Memphis has a game under their belts, and they're playing at home. That's asking for trouble, and that's just what we're getting.

Can anyone explain why Jordan Woodard is playing less than the new freshman guards?
Especially in a game where we are turning the ball over so much it would be nice to have our only true point guard in

Also, there's no reason to freak out yet.
Lon coaches like non-conference is the preseason every single year since he's been here. Lots of subs, trying new things, etc. We played 11 guys - every single healthy scholarship player, in the first 10 minutes.

Offense is disorganized. This is what happens when you have absolutely no inside game and rely solely on jumpshota while playing long, athletic teams. You get your butts beat on the glass and you can't find a rhythm. Gonna be a dogfight.
