Capel essentially played six players. The pared-down rotation was productive. The Sooners had assists on 17 of 25 baskets. On several possessions, they made five or six passes to get high-percentage shots.

"The thing I keep telling our guys is we have to be a team that hits a lot of singles," Capel said. "We have to get guys on base and move runners. We can't swing for the fences. That's not who we are. When we did that, we did a good job of getting good looks."

I really did like the ball rotation, passed up good or solid shots for great shots quite a bit. If it continues along with more movement as well the offense could end up fairly efficient this year.
