...I know that he probably did something stupid, BUT COME ON. Tiny seems to be the only dude that wants to help turn things around here. His attitude has been shaky at times, but I really think he can turn into a true team player while improving his game and hustle.

GIVE THE BIG GUY A SECOND CHANCE!!!

I think Tiny is a good kid who is young but really wants to work to get better not only for himself but to represent OU. I also dont think he should be mentioned attitude wise within the same stratosphere as Willie and TMG. That being said if he took money to come to OU to play I dont want him here. Nor do I want any coach who may have turned a blind eye to this or faciliated this sort of conduct on the team anymore.

If it was pay to play then I agree. If he took a loan that was made to get influence with him come agent time then its a much milder transgression. I hope things work out.

If it's proven he took money he's gone. The program cannot afford to let anything slide at this point. Kelvin ruined any possible benefit of the doubt.

After getting to know Tiny this year I can tell you his attitude is night and day compared to when he walked on campus. Unfortunately TMG was a bad influence on him and others off the court that transferred onto the court, hence the attempted shoplifting with Fitz and Pledger. Ultimately they are both to blame but peer pressure and being away from home for the first time can lead to some silly things.

I saw tremendous growth toward the last of the season with Tiny. His work ethic in the gym, in practice, and in school. I find it no surprise that all of this coincided when he started hanging around Crocker, Cade, Big O, and Drew.

Tiny is seriously into Oklahoma basketball and athletics right now. He was there at both womens games during the tourney, he has been to some baseball and softball games and has mentioned to me he is ready to goto the OU football games. To me that sounds like he is ready to work and represent his University! Add to that he is starting a new serious workout regime he is ready to DO WORK! He made the comment he realizes now he has to work to get where he wants to be and just can't show up on the court and expect it to just be there.

Us Sooner fans are behind you Tiny! Go get 'em!

Thanks for the info. I hope everything works out for Tiny.

I really like Tiny and want him back. For reasons moreso then it would make our team that much better next year. Throughout the year you could see that he did care, as opposed to some other guys on the team.

Its been said many times but we forget that these kids are 18 and 19 year olds and like SQ said easily influenced into sometimes making just stupid decisions. Lets hope Tiny's doesnt negate any possible growth and he is given the opportunity to live and learn. If he is able to stay at OU at least 3 years and continue to grow and improve I think he has a real shot to be a top 15 pick and a nice NBA career.

Quick that's great and thanks for the info. Sounds like Tiny is getting his stuff together which who can blame him..he was just a young freshman last year. Sounds like he's matured a lot.
Unfortunately, the bottom line is if it turns out he did take money from an agent/financial advisor set up thru an OU assistant then he's probably gone. I don't see any other way around it.
