On ESPN, Bilas, Digger and JW all picked NDSU right after the selection show. On CBSSports.com, 5 out of their 6 bracket experts picked NDSU.

As for most of us, I knew nothing about the Bisons (even their nickname) until four hours ago. And, it sounds like they are a good team.

However, I LOVE the fact OU is the sexy choice to be the annual No. 5 seed that falls to a 12. The team has to see this. No overlooking the small school now. Many people believe we aren't going to win.

We've been in that situation many times this year - and won quite a few of them. Let's do it a few more times.

The 5-seed that everyone's picking to lose RARELY does.

OU has been an underdog all year. Why stop now?

I don't see it.

I guess it isn't impossible, but teams that give OU the most trouble are teams with size. And NDSU doesn't have that. And.OU has played solid defense the last month or so.

Every single pundit on ESPN picked Michigan State to win the whole thing so how much credibility can they possibly have? About as much as their BPI.

Not that I think we will be the 5 seed to be upset this year (if any lose to a 12), but wasn't OSU vs Oregon the 5 v 12 that everyone picked last year. That one seems to not work out to well for OSU if I remember those seeds correctly.

I am hoping that the team feels a little disrespected and can get us a win in the NCAAs. It has been too long.

My initial bracket had Michigan State winning it all. I have to change it now that I saw that.

OU opened as a 2 1/2 pt. favorite and quickly jumped to 4 1/2. The talking heads may see an upset. But, the betting public likes the Sooners.

Love the underdog role with this squad. Kruger and Henson will feast on it!

NDSU has zero wins against the RPI top 50. It doesn't mean they are a bad team, but they haven't beat anyone this year.

We'll jack up 30+ threes. If we hit 13+ we win. Anything less I think we'll lose. NDSU will score against our defense.

We have a good team, this team has been disrespected the whole year - let's not forget we were underdogs in what 8 of our first 9 Big 12 games ? As long as we don't throw a dog out there like against Tech and Baylor (seriously its the NCAA tourney) we will win this game. SD St isn't a great team but they have size which is more worrisome to me.

You don't go through the gauntlet and finish 2nd like we did without growing some hair on your balls.

(PS ND St was one of the worst teams in the country defending the 3).

If we make it that far, SDST would probably be the best defense we've seen all season.

Or teams with good guard play. LT. KSU. WVU.

Does anyone honestly think North Dakota State would have finished 2nd in the Big 12? Maybe their pick is based on match ups I don't know about. Seems like they're picking against us just for the sake of picking an upset.

Past history?

Yep and the only thing that moves the line that much is the professional's. It's not John and Susan from Ada placing $20 bets.

(the only thing to worry about is if the Pro's are trying to trick the book, but unlikely)
