Pitching to Chamberlain was a huge error on the Tenn co-coaches! Gotta love it!

That was an unbelievable comeback! You can never count this team out.

These kids are amazing. Thanks for the Tennessee coaches for being brain dead and pitching to Lauren. Wow. I hope we run rule 'em tomorrow and just put it away. Great job kids.

I'm usually all optimism, all the time, but I thought they were beat after they got behind 3-0. Great job to tie it up and then hold Tennessee in the top of the next inning.

Totally agree! I think they felt the pressure more tonight than any game all season. Tenn pitcher pitched a good game but we missed a few opportunities along the way to keep it from going extra innings but I sure hope this opens the floodgates for tomorrow! BOOMER SOONER!

That was a loss that may completely dishearten Tennessee. They had it won. There is no way that Martinez is going to hit a triple, and Parsons is going to hit a double to tie the game. I think Renfro came out a little flat in the twelfth.

I think Gasso's mindset is:
1. softball pitchers can pitch day after day. Like Lauren said, they have the weekend to recover.
2. I think Michelle would be difficult for Tennessee, but she wouldn't completely shut down the lefties like Keilani does. Silencing those lefties is the key to beating Tennessee.

I suspect that Tennessee will come back with the same pitcher. Her sister is more of a power pitcher, and that doesn't play well against OU. We have more problems with the Luna's and Ellen Renfro's of the world.

I must admit that I am stunned that we turned on the switch in the eleventh. If we came out like that, we might hit them for ten in the first three innings tomorrow.

Huge morale boost to take the opener. This make UT have to take two in a row now...

Of course, I didn't think that Bama could sweep the last two last year, either...

This is true. What if:
1. Parsons is not called out before Chamberlain's double in the third? It would result in a run scored with Turang and Chamberlain on second and third with one out for Casey.
2. We loaded the bases and hit into a force play at home.
3. Martinez lined out to third with runners on second and third, great catch.
4. Any others?

I don't think Bama was as disillusioned as Tennessee might be after losing a 3-0 lead with two out and two strikes.

Wow, if we feel a little delirious after the stunning comeback, how do you think the players feel?

... and as Syb said, gotta be devastating to the Vols - - they had it all but gift-wrapped, only to have it snatched from under their nose!

I gotta get calm before going to bed, I am still amped up~

I don't think the players will be at all tired tomorrow night. We may see the eleventh and twelfth innings from the start. This team should never play not to lose. It just isn't their style, what makes them good. They should come out ready to devour Tennessee. The Vols have to be in a state of shock right now.

Lauren is only the second player to have thirty home runs twice. She is only thirty home runs away from the record.

I don't think what happened tonight will affect Tenn tomorrow just like I don't think it would have disillusioned OU if we would have lost the game. It will come down to execution just like it did tonight. If we can get Pendley hitting again, we should win it tomorrow.
