OU Softball

OU had the bases loaded with one out and didn't score. Unreal.

Maybe we'll quit trying to be so defensive at the plate for the next game (s?). We played not to lose all night.

As long as we are second-guessing, Norm, perhaps Gasso should have subbed Gascoigne for Ricketts this last inning? The Tennessee hitters are getting really good contact and have for the last several innings.
Two innings ago a Vol hitter took Keilani to a 13-pitch AB, just kept fouling them off.

Next question: after 11 innings (assuming we lose tonight) does Patty start Keilani again tomorrow night, with perhaps a quick hook for Gascoigne?

Ya know, I was thinking the same thing. KR has been really good but all of a sudden Tenn started hitting her. I think you are probably right about tomorrow night.

All of a sudden we still have life!

Wow, tied at 3!

I know I'm not supposed to disagree with Patty but there was no reason to try to stretch a double into a triple and get the runner thrown out.

Well. We play offense, and we score. Now, that may change this momentum thing entirely.

Considering the length of this game, and positing that Ricketts and E. Renfroe do not start tomorrow, who is better between Gascoigne and Ivy Renfroe?

Geez. I'm having chest pains but I'll head to the emergency room after we win this. :ez-laugh:
