We only shot 38%. It's not like we had a phenomenal half. We played well, and Texas couldn't buy a shot. If they shoot fifty percent in the second half, it probably won't be enough to catch up. They would have to have a sensational half, and we would have to fall apart.

True. But OU held Texas to 20% shooting from the field (18% from three).

That was the best half of defense this team has played all season. And, it was against the #10 team in the country, on their own floor.

By the way, Texas didn't shoot a single free throw in that half. An amazing stat when the game is being played on their home court.
