OU vs N. Texas

Wow. This is really going to hurt for awhile. Very poor performance, even for early in the season. This will haunt us at the end of the year.

That looked like a brick layers convention out there. They shoot 3o% on their home floor. Geez!
 
What did Sherri say after the game? Direct tv didn't have room for us tonight in sw Florida. Just as well.
 
We missed Gioya tonight. Other than Stu, no one else could score the ball.
Rough start with like 3-4 consecutive turnovers to start the game and just never got untracked.
UNT did a nice job tonight and deserve to win.
Hopefully, we've gotten this one out of our system and we'll look forward to BYU on Thursday.

Worst effort that Sherri could remember - she said the team didn't have any energy what so ever!!!
 
Just flat out got outplayed! No will to win at all! I hope team chemistry picks up soon!
 
You learn from the wins. You learn from the losses. Hopefully this one sticks for a while, and we bounce back. I know we will bounce back from this loss. Have faith in this team.

We basically lost a starter, Sharane to graduation, Gioya out to injury, and Nicole who wasn't too significant in conference play last year. This seems like some games they played last year before conference....maybe worse. Haven't looked at stats. Just wondering about Vivi and Lanesia and T'ona. Didn't see game, not sure I will watch tomorrow on SSports Premium.

Is Maddie playing the 4?
 
Is Derica starting? I believe I would start LaNeisia or Vivi. Yep, know some will say that is crazy. Of course, match-ups matter. Oh, and Derica is a favorite of mine.
 
We fell into North Texas trap by pushing the tempo, they were faster than us and they also got back on breaks. We have to experiment with using two post players and slow down the tempo down the tempo of the game. Our 4 guard rotation is gonna kill us again this year. We have no shot blocking presence on the floor and they drove to the basket with ease. Our man 2 man defense needs work.

We were led to believe the team started the early practices working on defense. Really??? Our defense and rebounding is bad. Sherri needs to get serious about those aspects of the game quickly.
