OU vs TCU

You do realize that in the two games that we won of the past four, Carter, Kornet, and Campbell started, and Edwards was key in what relief Morgan got.

We have a shot at 9-9 and a winning record. That is hardly a meltdown type performance like we experienced under Capel. But it is not up to what we have grown to expect under Sherri.

The statement that we have no recruits from the last two years that can start in the Big 12 is a little harsh. Carter as a frosh has started games and has contributed to wins at times.

One thing that interested me was that Campbell scored 22 points against Kansas and 12 against Texas. She only had 9 against Baylor and Kornet started in her place against TCU. Kornet had 4 points and 2 rebounds in her place. Does this signify some internal strife. Kornet had a pretty good game against Baylor but Sherane has typically been our most consistent player.

Cal,
I think you hit everything on target.
It's not just one thing.
I disagree though that Sherri could have shaken things up drastically and pushed the youngsters into the mix more. Maybe more losses but a better idea of what OU has in
Edwards
Carter
Kellogg
Wyatt
Gibbs
My real concern about OU hoops is that there is not a starter in that five player group.

Atlanta, I share that concern. I think Carter can be a player, but at this point she reminds me a lot of Sharane as a freshman.

I really like Sharane's play except for the fouls. For some reason she can't get that under control. Sharane will have to step up next year.

Kay Kay has to work on her shooting.

I suspect that a freshman or two will crack the starting lineup next season.

Thanks again, SoonerinNC, for your voice of reason!
