5-2 on Chamberlin and Self's homeruns with one on each. Bases loaded in the 7th for Alabama with a 3-2 count to their home run hitter who had homered already this game and Paige struck her out on a beautiful changeup.
I was going to bench Self for failing to call for a fly ball that Pendly was desperately trying to catch and for going cold in the batter's box. Then, BAM she homers with one on!!
We are still not hitting as well as we need to.

1. We have a history of having problems with rise ball pitchers: Traina, Hoover (LSU), Escadido (last year at ASU). We finally got Osorio figured out.
2. I think we were a bit tight to start this game, on offense and defense. That dropped pop fly was something that should never occur with Shelby and Kady. They've played together too long for that kind of mistake. We were a bit tight in the field and at bat. Callie and Lauren relaxed us. Then, we exploded. Suddenly, Shelby made three great plays in the field in the sixth, especially that third.

Hopefully, Bama will be the tight one tomorrow.

We will likely see Osorio again tomorrow, she is their ace... although Littlejohn is pretty salty, too.

We will see if we got Osorio "figured out".

BTW, OU men won in Tulsa over KState 3-1 (I think that score is correct). Has anyone found a website that shows the men's bracket, together with results? The Big 12 site shows a bunch of head scratchers like "winner of Game 1 plays loser of Game 4, etc. Why can't someone put out an interactive bracket???
