Well, here we go. Win and move on.

Getting creamed right now. It's pretty bad when you have five girls on the court and only two of them are capable offensively. This is where we will be incredibly exposed - Vivi in foul trouble and so is Maddie and so we've got no other option but to put Simpson on the floor, who is NOT a DI player! If we get beat here and don't make the tournament, it's nobody's fault but SC's! This should teach her and her sorry excuse for assistant coaches a lesson. GET OFF YOUR BUTTS AND RECRUIT WHEN PLAYERS TRANSFER!!

This is. Pathetic performance. PATHETIC!

Sherri fully described this team with her halftime comments when she said their key to the game was defend the three and 2/3 of the frogs shots BTA did not have a defender within 3' of the shooter.

If you don't play the game plan and lose both Maddie and Vivi to foul trouble you get what you deserve. Can only hope that we comeback like we did in Norman for the win.

Good start to second half but the elementary decision by Ortiz could of just put Vivi back on bench! What has happened to her? Won’t shoot playing with zero confidence!

As bad as 1st half was, the third was tremendous. This truly a Jekyll-Hyde team.

Don’t let up in 4th! Win it, Sooners.

Awesome 3rd quarter. We have the momentum now. Need to get over the hump and take the lead. Would be helpful if we got something offensively from Gabi.

We simply do not have a suitable backup in the post. TCU is smart to pound it inside.

It is disappointing that Ortiz just has lost all confidence and cannot help this team offensively when she was moved to shooting guard to SHOOT!

We may make the dance because of Sherri’s Rep, but IMO, this coach and team don’t deserve to.

It's been obvious for 2 years to everyone but Vivi that she has to avoid cheap fouls. I would bet that in 75% of the games we've lost, Vivi had to sit too much in the first half due to dumb fouls.

This was textbook SC senior performance! One of our three seniors showed up and decided to play. I'm sad to see Manning leave if she plays like this. Vivi can only do so much playing as much as she does and in the shape she's in. Ortiz won't be missed, in my opinion. There will be another mini SC that comes in next season to replace her hot and cold performances. I believe Veitenheimer will be the next mini SC, hopefully better than Ortiz was though.

I don't believe this team deserves a NCAA bid. SAy all you want about their strength of schedule and that they can 'play with anyone' out there. Fact of the matter is, they haven't been able to BEAT very many good teams, and that's what will be the difference. This will be a good lesson for SC and her sorry excuses for assistant coaches to learn. I think she needed a sorry season like this to hopefully wake her up for the next few seasons. I hope she's under some hot water after this season and we see a noticeable change in effort, heart, and plain fundamentals in our players from here on out.

Correct me if i'm wrong, but how many seasons is it now that we haven't won a Big 12 tournament game? It seems like it's been forever since we've even been in the mix for the tournament final, sad to say.

It'll be a LONG time until next season unfortunately. Maybe, if we are lucky, we get NIT bid and go in there and win it, but with the personnel we have, I don't see that happening. So long til next season folks!

1. We had some people who just didn't play their most intelligent game.
2. Gabbi? I won't say what I am thinking. We really need to make the field so you can redeem yourself from the past two weeks.
3. I don't care if I am called a sunshine pumper, a couple of the fouls on Vivi were flops. They seemed to be willing to call a foul on OU on every drive. Maddie got hammered, as did Vivi. No calls. For some reason, TCU was able to block a lot of shots without fouling. Vivi played dumb by not recognizing what they were doing. We needed her presence more than an individual block. The officials played a role in giving TCU the lead.
4. Penzo trying to be a star? Poorest decisions she has made in a game recently. Simpson tried to do too much. Let the scorers score.
5. Maddie and Shaina got us back into it. Then, we took some bad shots. I think Maddie was exhausted at the end.

Do you remember the thirty second span in which Moore traveled enough to require a matched set of luggage---no call. Then, Vivi was called for her second foul on an Okonkwo flop? Two calls that really hurt---both bad calls..

I think we will probably get in the dance, maybe win one. We need more intelligent play from Vivi and Gabbi to go further than that. Vivi, play withing yourself. Gabbi----?

I think Gabbi is mentally through and has been for some time.

Ortiz is 0 for 13 on 3 point shots the last 3 games. Feel for her, as I have thought all year she worked harder in games than any other player.

After the 30-point explosion everyone began to tightly face guard her and she couldn’t get open and we did NOTHING to spring her free.

Her lack of production is solely on this coaching staff.

They could not have been "tightly" guarding since no fouls were being called on the person guarding her..

Here is the truth. The decision to move Gabbi away from PG did not work for 2 reasons:

1. Gabbi is too short to be playing against wings much of the time. That is why she has not been very successful at the 3 this year. Even today, the person guarding her was often 5 - 8 inches taller than she is.

2. Shaina is not an acceptable PG in her place. She virtually never passes the ball. Even today, on a number of occasions she drove wildly to the rim, put up wildly impossible shots, and missed them. A PG MUST be able to pass the ball effectively - and frequently. A PG must help others score - at least as much as she scores herself.
