OU's RPI second best in conference

I don't pay much attention to the RPI ratings, mainly because it's mostly mumbo jumbo to me. But for you guys who do, you may be interested to know that OU has the second best RPI rating in the Big 12, right behind KU.

Our SOS is ranked #10 right now. Win or lose, both ranking will go down after the Tech game tonight. It's important, of course, that we win the game to keep our RPI from falling too much.

You will notice the RPI is starting to truly reflect the best teams now. There have been enough games played that all the teams are mathematically connected and the flukes have been weeded out.

What I find interesting is it projects OU winning 12 confernce games with a 2point road loss to KSU and a 3 point home loss to KU. It also shows OU in reasonably close losses with ISU, Baylor and OSU on the road. If OU wins the projected games and steals a couple of the close games, this could be a great season.

Note sure we should be above Indiana or a few others, but it's pretty incredible the turn this season (and messageboard) has taken the past few weeks.
