Pac 10/Big 12 challenge is garbage...

Maybe they should just have OU, Texas & Kansas play UCLA, Arizona & USC/Washington and let the other Big XII teams play vs CUSA.

That makes the most sense.

Wouldnt mind that.

Does anyone else think this "series" is garbage and should be put to sleep?

First off, the non-comparative number of teams makes the "challenge" odd, as two Pac 10 teams have to play twice.

Secondly, the stupid thing is spread out over like a month... how is it that the ACC/Big 10 challenge can take place over one week, but the Big 12/Pac 10 challenge takes the end of November and the entire month of December?

Finally, the TV deal is worthless... Fox Sports Regional with the games all over the map in terms of time, etc.

Can we please trash this worthless thing?

Wouldn't a Big 12/SEC challenge with all of the games on a decent network ESPN/ABC or even CBS be MUCH better?

It's bad because the Pac 10 is bad this year. If USC, UCLA, and Oregon were at the levels they were in the past, it would have made it alot more entertaining.

Maybe... but it still doesn't feel like an "event", because the games are spread out over 5-6 weeks and the game days/times are all over the place.

all the games were televised on fsn.....well except the OU game which was on ESPNU..im not sure how but the key is to have espn televising it..with espn, espn2 and espnu you could have multiple games on at the same time or even slightly stagger the times...its how it seems to have worked for the acc-big ten challenge.

not true at alll ... the Home pac 10 games are on FSN the Home big 12 games are all on the ESPN family of networks espn doesn't have pac 10 basketball rights

And Stanford, USC, and Oregon State (all crap teams) played multiple games against Big 12 teams.
