I am sure no one really cares about my two cents but here goes.

I think Scott is a great coach. Do we agree on everything, NO. Does that mean I don't think he can coach, heck no. He gets his kids to play hard.

I think too many times basketball coaches take it personal when a football kid isn't there for every part of the basketball stuff that goes on. Unfortunately I think that affects their opinion of those kids.

Just my opinion.

Scott has one of the best top 5 in the state. Bixby will be good this year and it could be a real battle this year with the top 4 teams in the frontier conference. If they send a West side team over this year, it won't be like last year where they have a very good shot to make it to State. Barring injuries, Jenks, Union, Bixby, and Muskogee will be tough outs in the playoffs.

They were a year apart. Brett and Rocky graduated in 98, Matt the following year. That is where the frustration with football players and their parents feelings got things started.

Jenks was loaded for a few years prior, then they had some down years in terms of talent. I am sure that didn't help either as winning cures all ills.

Well, the results are in, 5hr energy, and it looks like Padek did a job this year....didn't screw them up...........Takes Bixby to the 6A State Tourney (First year playing a 6A schedule!!!).....heard he was also the District 7 Coach of the Year!....Good for him and Bixby.........Couldn't be happier for him and the Spartans.......Take care 5 hr Energy , and you can keep your hurtful comments to yourself next year!!........

I think he needs to keep posting his "hurtful comments", your rants are quite entertaining.

Bixby had some pretty good teams back in the mid-90's. John Cornwell, maybe? He was recruited to TU, and they started a PF beside him that was in the 6'8" range, I believe.
