Good article. Living in Wichita, I've heard nothing but very good things about this young man. I wish him success wherever he goes.
The one surprising thing, which I don't really like, is the one and done talk. I've never heard that from him in interviews.
I guess I just haven't. In fact, I remember reading an article talking about how committed to education he is and that he didn't have a time table. He's a 4.0 student and his parents are very education focused. He's got a great family from what I've heard. Good kid.
Might as well assume anyone ranked that high for that long is going to plan on a one and done college career.
He's actually been dropping in the rankings for quite sometime. On Scout he's down to #46. I'll be surprised if he's in anyone's top 10 come his senior year.

He's down to 26 at rivals, too (and no longer has Missouri listed in his profile; I'm pretty sure we've offered, but maybe not).
I never really paid too much attention to him, though... figured he'd stay in kansas. Last I read about him was several months ago when his HS team played against a team from Columbia with a Mizzou signee (it was one of Ellis' team's two losses on the season).
