Does anyone find it odd we cannot get good PG play when our coach was an all everything PG at Duke?
He just did sign a stud PG. His name was TMG. The guy could play. He just turned out to be an idiot, so Capel had to scramble and get the two best PG's that he could to fill in the holes short term. If he's still here, I'm sure he'll get another good PG soon. In the meantime maybe we'll see if two guys who just finished their first year in the Big 12 might improve. It has happened before.
Anybody heard anything recent on TMG? Last thing I remember reading he was in the stands at LNC for one game and that he was kinda sitting there alone and shunned. He still D-leaguing?

Personally, I think Jeff Capel's biggest fault as a coach is he perceives from his own history. Capel grew up with a coach. He worked hard. He was probably very hard on himself. I think (and I certainly don't know this) that he is too soft on his players because he did not need a hard nosed coach.
As he gets older, I think he will become more of a disciplinarian and more demanding of his players. He will realize that most people are not like him. He is likely smarter than the average college basketball player, comes from a better home (Jeff's dad made/makes a good living), was more talented (not many kids can even get recruited by Duke let alone start for Duke) and probably more driven than average.
