4. Blake Griffin
5. Taj Gray

Reserves (guys who were at their best coming off the bench at OU)
Jason Detrick
Daryan Selvy
Johnnie Gilbert
Jaison Williams

1. Quannas White
2. Hollis Price
3. Ebi Ere (healthy)
4. Ace McGhee
5. Blake Griffin

1. Drew Lavender - the senior at Xavier

4. Taylor Griffin - Senior year
5. Blake Griffin - Soph year

bench
Ace Mcghee - for instant offense inside
Taj Gray - rebounding, shot blocking, energy, dunking off bench

Lavender, Davis and Taylor Griffin?

smh

Blake at 5
Ace at 4
Hollis at 2
Those above are the locks.
1 willie warren
3 Cade Davis
Bench
Osby, Everret and Taj

If i was starting a real roster though i would move Hollis to the PG and put WW on the bench and Osby at the 3 and Cade at the 2 (and it would be a big lineup).

Anyone that has Cade in their lineup is really poor at evaluating talent.

Cade Davis? Seriously? Anyone that doesn't have Quanna White in the first team needs to find some game tape. I'd kill for Woodard to be that steady. I'd also love to see Ace v. Ro one on one. Also, it made me proud to be a member of this board that no one used the pg, sg, sf, pf, c format, specifically anyway (pretty sure that's what OP was going for). Mine is spot on with WTSooner. Ebi Ere and Jason Detrick true slashers...the good ol days.

Yeah. Q is the best PG we've had since Ricky Grace (I have always considered Mook a SG)...

My top five would be:

Quannas White
Hollis Price
Ebi Ere
Ace McGhee
Blake Griffin

with Taj, WW, Romero, Bookout and Everett coming off of the bench as my next five.

Larry Turner
Keith Clark
Bobby Maze
Ray Willis
Keith Gallon

Boom Shaka Laka!

Why 2002-2013?

Anyway, Ada had the right answer. I might add Nate Carter to the bench. By conference play he was outstanding. Tough player.

1 Team

Q. White
H. Price
E. Era
B. Griffin
A. McGee

2nd Team
A. Johnson
T. Everette
T. Gray
R. Osby
K. Bookout

I am surprised nobody picked TMG for pg. Ignoring his ego and attitude issues that guy was heck of basketball player.

He didn't play defense, and he was a scoring pg. On a team full of "best players", give me the distributing pg that can defend any day of the week.

I am surprised nobody picked TMG for pg. Ignoring his ego and attitude issues that guy could have been one heck of basketball player.

Denver, you'll notice that I took what you said and framed it to fit the TMG we all came to know.

There is no doubt that he could have had an outstanding future as a point guard at the college level. Unfortunately, the ego and attitude you mentioned, along with a few other negatives I could list, overshadowed his God-given talents as a basketball player.

I will always believe that our three burger boys that year would have been just fine under different circumstances. But, playing on the same team for a coach who didn't have the experience or the administrative skills to handle selfish, me-first players with one foot already out the door, was a recipe for disaster. And, as we all know, that is exactly how what should have been a great season turned out.
