I can't figure out who I think is player of the game... Fitz or Thompson?

The honor, if I'm correct, was given to Cade.

In my mind, it should have been Fitz. He was the only one getting inside and getting consistent points for us. Not to knock Thompson; I just think Fitz is a little more deserving.

That's a tough one, because Nick was setting up Fitz with his assists. I think you could go wither way. It just depends on how you look at it.

I say co-players of the game. Thompson and Fitz.

Its hard not to give it to Pledger for those two giant 3s to send it to OT. Or Big Puma for the game saving block.

Pledger is right in there too. I give the nod to Fitz or Thompson though... Fitz with his 22pts and Thompson with his 12reb's, 7asst, and his play in overtime.

I think I have to go with Thompson.

That's the beauty of this; there were sooooo many players who made huge plays during the comeback and in OT. That's what makes me really happy, even though it was an ugly win they grew as a team tonight. This can only help down the road.

Fitzgerald also had 8 or 9 boards. He's the MVP of this team. I know he's basically played 2 teams with no talent inside. But he's going to be hard to stop especially with Thompson's passing ability. With the Griffin's a couple years ago both were really solid passers and that helped both getting more points inside.

Thats exactly what I thought. Pledger with big 3's, Puma with a HUGE block, Thompson with his OT leadership, Fitz keeping us in the game, I mean hell even Cade played some serious defense on #12(which I hope none of you forgot, but posterized us on that one dunk and left us all looking at each other with the WTF look) He hit a solid 3 in OT and played pretty good D. Plus when calvin was in there I thought pushing the floor helped get some of our momentum back. I say the team is the MVP.

cade was not good for long stretches of this game

I feel like sometimes we want to choose the non-obvious answer just for the sake of choosing the non-obvious answer. Far and away our most valuable player last night was Fitz.

I thought Thompson was the key. He was our leading rebounder and leader in assists. He was the guy that set up Fitz for layups all night. Not only that, but he made the two big buckets to help us take control in overtime. Plus he played 45 minutes. Fitz was on the bench during much of our "comeback" down the stretch in regulation.

Thompson and Fitz were the only two that played well IMO, other than maybe the Puma.

Fitz missed a lot of easy layups which contributed to us being down most of the game. I would give it to everyone who stepped foot on the floor for showing a desire to win and having the heart to pull it out.
