Players relieved to have new coach in place

Cam's not going anywhere. Pledger was the one I was most worried about.

...and if he does we will move on.

I don't think I said we should fold up the tent and shut down the program if Cam leaves, but wouldn't you agree that he is going to need to be a major part of our team next year if we are going to have any success whatsoever?

I agree Cam is important, but if he doesn't want to go here then he can leave. This program isn't going to be defined by next season. If Cam is mad it's has zero to do with Lon Kruger. Not to mention it's not like Cam set the basketball world on fire last season; he had a nice year but I don't think he's a lottery pick.

He needs to bring his lunch pail to practice and get better. This world is a hard place, your boss gets fired sometimes, it happens.

He will be fine. I don't see why he would transfer at this this point.

But if we let Capel go the entire team will transfer!!!! Fitz, Pledger, Cam, and Newell will all be gone!!!!!!!!!

Or say they said...

The silence from Cameron Clark remains deafening.

In my very limited time of being around Cam, my experience is that Cam doesn't say much. Sometimes, after games, the players who are going to be interviewed after the game, will come into the media work room while waiting for their turn in front of the mics. After Senior night, Cade, Pledger and Cam came in there. Cade was being interviewed by a reporter, but Pledger and Cam came over and were looking over the photographers' shoulders as we edited photos. Steven was outgoing and talkative, Cam not so much. I just got the impression that he's not much of a talker in media environments, partly, perhaps, personality and partly age. This might be the reason for his "silence".
