Predict The Score: TX Southern @ OU Edition

OU 71
TSU 66

Close, but no OT

I seriously doubt this game is close....No way we have two games that close this early in the season in my opinion. I think pledger uses the other night as a spring board (when he knocked down that late three) and strikes fire tonight.

I expect 20+ points from pledge tonight

If they were not missing 2 of their better players, I would have predicted a <10 point win...but I don't think we will struggle too much with a depleted TX Southern team after our scare on Monday.

I originally thought this would be a game OU loses, but they are down their two best players. Still close game though.

OU: 70
TSU: 65

There is just absolutely no way this game is close. If it is indeed close that would be a terrible job of coaching. Coach should have ripped his guys the other night for not showing the fire the entire game like we did in overtime...we should come in pumped up and should be an easy win...if its not thats just silly

I remembered that you picked this as an "upset" earlier and I thought you had some sound reasons for it then. Hopefully the close call the other night woke up the good guys.

You realize this team has more talent than the North Carolina Central team, right? They have transfers from Kentucky and Texas, play Missouri style, and are going to be more athletic at every position (than UNCC).

I dont know if Travele Jones (their best player) is playing tonight though.

They have lost to wichita state 79-67 & drake 60-49

There is just no way this game stays close...if it does we are alot worse off then I could have ever imagined. It just wont happen....we win by 15+

Isn't Kevin Galloway the 6-7 point guard that we recruited out of Southern Utah CC a couple of years ago that went to Kentucky?

OU- 77
Texas Southern- 74

Wichita St and Drake are probably both better than we are right now.

Yeah, he's a transfer from Kentucky. Southern Idaho not Utah though. Teammate of Juan Pattilo's.

OU wins by double figures…but just barely:

OU 74
TSU 64

Wichita State is one of the Mo Valley preseason favorites.

By Missouri style, you mean Quin, right?

Tony Harvey is a former Mizzou assistant under Quin (and was implicated in the most severe of the violations the NCAA hit us for).

I had no idea he was a head coach.

Just have a feeling that the OT win will do more good than bad for the confidence of the team.

OU - 77
TSU - 55

Woah, my mistake, I thought he was an Anderson guy. I was watching them play Colorado last year and the tv announcers said he was an Anderson guy and had that philosophy.

Didnt do my homework on that one!
