Presumptive roster?

Atlanta, you know a lot more than me as to where these kids are ranked, but aren't they all named to their state's all-state teams? That would seem to indicate that they have some good skills. I noticed Shaya Kellog was rated a four star recruit by ESPN. Would that place her in the top 100 in the numerical rating or not? I'm just asking, I know zero about how these kids are ranked.

Yes, Kellogg had a ranking of 91 (4 star) by Hoopgurlz so I'm pretty sure that would put her in their top 100.

This service has her at #87:

Bluestar likes Kellogg but feels she needs work to play inside:

Shaya Kellogg, a 6-2 2013 forward, has the size, build and strength but may need to zero in on low post work or expanding her game from the high post rather than mixing things up right now.

This is the review of Kai James:

http://espn.go.com/high-school/girls-basketball/recruiting/player/_/id/125682/kai-james

James is rated as the country's eighth-best player by National Basketball Insider, No. 12 by All Star Girls Report, No. 19 by Full Court and No. 23 by the Blue Star Basketball Report.

Kellogg is expected to be good but the recruiting services do not think she is James good.
The recruiting services didn't see James vs Kellogg. Either that, or they think James can mature into something she isn't.

The recruiting services weren't the only ones who favored James.

James was a McDonald's All-American.

She also made the USA U17 National Team.

The only part of that that impresses me is the U17, and I wonder why?
