Clemson

Well that 1 mil a year should get you some good adjustments

Another OU terrible shooting night and, as usual, more turnovers than ever. The more things change the more they seem to stay the same.

I know this team is so young and inexperienced, but geeze.

Robertson really struggling the last couple of games. Can’t hit the broad side of a barn.

Obviously we need her to produce double digit points every game.

Thanks for your updates. Syb.

Yes, I noticed that too - about Live Stats. Every game I've watched on Live Stats at this tournament have stopped half way through the 4th quarter. It appears to be intentional. I wonder why?

Murcer hit a two. Clemson up by 7 at 2:12.

You will be shocked to know Shaina quickly fouled.

Clemson by 7. foul by Maddie Williams 68-60 under a minute

70-60 with 17 seconds. Foul by Williams.

74-62 at 12 seconds.

Clemson wins 74-62.

Good news is the football team is up 35-21 with just 3:06 left in the first half.

62-74

That seven minutes in the second quarter was too much. No senior leadership to settle the team down.

74-62 Clemson, 20 plus turnovers, horrible continued free throw shooting, and basically no three point shooting to speak of. Not scoring the last 4:36 of second killed this team.

Generally, you count on your senior guards to get control of a game to stop a run. We don't have any. We will be prone to this until someone takes charge. I expect it to be Ana or Tatum.

It is what it is...I'm gonna go ahead and say but I think this style of offense just isn't going to work out so good. A team this small must be able to shoot, I dunno if they were good shooters in high school or not. But this team looks a lot like women teams in the 1970's

Experience. It is a great equalizer. But I agree the turnovers are just ridiculous, but they always have been. Missed FT are simply inexcusable.

It's funny that with the shortest line up she's had in years, SC desides her offensive game plan will be to throw it inside play after play. It's like the exact opposite of what anyone else would think would work. But sometimes that is how she is. But when no one has a consistent perimeter game what else are you going to do. Like I said, we are going to have a long season. We already are last in the Big 12 as far as non-conference record goes and I'm going to say it, we will end up second to last in the final Big 12 standings if we keep this up. I mean our big girls are worthless right now, can't even hit free throws :-(

I suppose I can be like some people and be happy with the few good things I see and tell myself just wait two more years and we should be okay by then, but that's just not good enough for me. Maybe I'm spoiled?

I have complained about free throws and I just cannot figure out why we are so pathetic at them.

A Hall of Fame coach and her staff can’t correct this lousy habit?

Same with turnovers. Upsetting to say the least.

Patty Gasso wouldn’t stand for that kind of crap.

By the time Anna gets back and turns into 100 percent it may be too late. She was struggling too.

Ana was only healthy for the exhibition game, and she had an excellent night.

I guess that I'm a bit older than most here. But, I've seen what the turmoil of inexperience is, having been responsible for working with it on so many occasions. We are actually a bit better than I thought we would be at this point. It was interesting that we had only 11 turnovers against UAB. Ever taught freshmen in college?

Not sure which of us is older, Syb. And, as a matter of fact, I have taught kids in college.

I think we are still adjusting. Robertson was hot one night. The next couple of games reality hit, I guess.

Tatum doesn’t dribble excessively as point like Ortiz did, but she shoots far less than any point we’ve had in a decade other than Penzo. That has surprised me and is probably why Jessie started tonight.

Robertson has to get back on track scoring wise.

Pellington is moving into doghouse territory it seems to me. That could be damaging in so many ways.

EJ is a waste on the court. Go with Lampkin and give her the experience she needs as swiftly as possible.

Inexperience is killing us, but Sherri has to do something about free throws and turnovers. Those are unacceptable.
