I wonder why he has hardly any East Coast school interest outside of BC. With KU, OU and Buzz Williams at Marquette at the forefront for this recruit, it almost seems like a prototypical recruiting battle for a Texas kid, not an east coaster.

Tharpe is making a visit to Lawrence the 22nd of October, a week after his visit to Norman. His final for are OU, KU, Minnesota, and St. Johns. I would assume OU and KU are in the running because of their familiarity with Brewster Academy.
