So you would have a JuCo SG coming in and playing over Pledger, and Osby (who we have heard is athletic but have seen nothing) start over Fitz who has shown a really nice ability to score the basketball down low? Is this assuming these guys are just complete studs and are ready to jump right in and contribute?

The story I found on the Tennessee Scout web site said Jurick left when the graduation rate forced the Vols to reduce their available scholarships from 13 to 12. The story also suggested that he was the odd-man out because UT relied on a three-man post rotation that was better suited to their up-tempo style.

One would think that Jurick would be a better fit at OU where up-tempo is talked about a lot, but not really a style that we have seen on a regular basis in the Capel era. Truth is, Billy Tubbs is the only coach we've had that looked to push the ball at every opportunity like say a Tennessee, Missouri and a few others I can think of.

This kid averaged 17.9 ppg, 15.9 rpg and 8 block as a senior in high school. Also found a Rival's bio that shows he was offered by the likes of Auburn, UK, Indiana, Clemson, Miami, Michigan and Ole' Miss, so he must have some skills.

I chatted with Chattanooga Community College Center Phillip Jurick yesterday and he confirmed that OU is still in the hunt. At this point, Jurick's list is still very long.

With Goff already coming in and bringing back Fitzgerald, Neal, Thompson, Washington and Honore, I doubt OU would be on the top of this kids list since he only has a couple of years to play.

Especially with Ahmed back on campus.
