I know they don't matter this early, but I can't help but wonder high we might have climbed off the results of this tourney if we hadn't lost to Creighton.

But how in the heck did we drop out of the Top 25 altogether after a tough road loss early in the season? I guarantee that doesn't happen to certain other teams, like texas. No way the longhorns would have dropped, what, six or seven spots after a two-point loss on the road to a decent program.

I remember very well. Bugged me then, bugs me now.

I don't know why texas would consistently get benefit of the doubt in the polls. UNC, Duke, UK, sure, whatever, but texas?

I don't think OU gets the benefit of the doubt in football. OU routinely drops fornot winning impressively or even during a bye week.
