Iowa state is a good team. We didn't play our best and still won. I think this is going to be a great year for Sooner hoops.

ISU is probably a 2-3 seed in the NCAA. And will probably beat us up there.

Any Sooner fan who is not happy after this win, needs to have his/her head examined. This was a great win over a highly-ranked team when we were not at our best. That's the sign of a good team.

We basically spotted them an 11 point lead in the first ten minutes and still won to remain UNDEFEATED. If you can't be happy with that you need pills, big pills.

Don't get me wrong, I'm happy. We are still undefeated and will be either 1 or 2 in the polls Monday, but I just hate seeing us let team go on big runs mid way through the first half. Clean that up and sweating a 4 point win becomes a double digit win with the starters getting rest. I still think out starters are playing too many Minutes and I worry about them wearing down yet again this season

Zero complaints. You're going to have games where your shot is off and they are shooting well...this was a great guy check win! Booooomer!

once they started attacking the basket is when their offense got better. i thought they did a poor job of getting up on players and guarding them. they just let State walk to their spots on the floor and do whatever they wanted.

I don't like the fact we got behind so much in the first half but at the same time I do like that we got a chance to play from behind against a very good team.

We won't win every game and will lose one we shouldn't when we play like this again but I just really liked the toughness down the stretch tonight.

I don't know why you would say that ISU will win. That was about as good as ISU can play and one of OUs worst performances on the season. Bo think OU will beat ISU n Ames.

I don't either. It's possible but I don't know that in any way that it is likely. We have a great team this year.

Great college basketball game. It was two teams that were extremely familiar with each other, and OU made a couple more plays down the stretch. I knew the 10 pt opening line was way too high between these two teams.

If you would have told me before the game that Iowa St would have a chance to tie, or take the lead, with less than a minute to go, I'd have taken that for sure. I liked the play they ran, force the double team on Niang, and a good look for Morris, who has hit his share of game winners.

Yep. He had a really good look. Burton is going to be a huge help to your team. I expect another exciting game in Ames in a couple of weeks.

As a basketball fan, these are the kind of games you love. Especially if you are an impartial observer.

Iowa State played great, but if we'd hit our gimme shots in the paint -- the clean, open shots right at the basket -- we would have won by 10 or more.

Yes, but Iowa St missed their fair share of layups in the first half, especially McKay. He definitely did not have his best game.

These guys have seen so much of each other, I don't expect any game to be a blowout, same with KU.

To be fair, it was one of OU's "worst performances" because they were playing a quality opponent. Yes I know about Villanova, but I'm not sure they're in the same category as OU or Iowa St.

Nice try. We weren't missing wide open threes because we were playing ISU.

We've got a little of crimson goggles on. Cuz we're really excited about the win

I'm excited about the win, but I'm talking about five or six lay-ins, plays where we'd beaten the ISU defense and were right at the basket and we missed.

Spangler's fastbreak miss. Jordan's transition miss that would have given us our first second-half lead. Two or three drives by Cousins where the ball just missed going in (and another one by Walker, I think).

Those had nothing to do with who we were playing (or with crimson glasses); they were point-blank shots that we just missed.

Iowa St is very good, easily top 3 in the B12 and at worst a 3 seed in the dance. Final 4 is a reachable goal. Sooner's worst game this year for making layups and catching passes and maybe from 3. Some of that was ISU and some just nerves. Really Happy and can both sides agree beat KU.
