Report: Big 12 staying together?

I can find no other way for us to go except for to the Pac 10. To stay would be repeating the mistake we made a few years ago. Screw KU and the other teams being left behind. I would have preferred to get 2 teams added to the Big 12 instead of leaving for another conference. Well, that ain't happening.

I do not want to join a conference that rides the coattails of the best teams and listen to Owen field or Lloyd Noble chant SEC,SEC. I also want what is best for the University. IMO that is to go west.

The real reason you do not want us to leave is the fact that KU may be left out in the cold. Maybe they will get to join us in our trek to the Pac 16. Then I will be glad to play our lopsided rivalry games.

Though this isn't proven, IMO OU would never succumb to SEC teams such as Ole Miss & Arkansas and care about the conference more than its own teams.

I'm willing to bet OU would never chant, "SEC" like some clown programs from the SEC do today. They've never chanted "Big 8" or "Big 12", so I doubt they would start chanting their conference anytime soon.

I'm not worried in the least about KU being "left out in the cold".
In fact, Larry Scott is meeting with KU and Lew Perkins tonight. If the Big 12 does disband A&M is all but gone to the SEC. That probably means KU to the Pac-16 and I'm still saying screw the Pac-16. I'm all for the Big 12.
I'll hate it if KU goes to the Pac-16.
