i hear that....there was also an athletic big man who ended up somewhere in the south, UAB or something. forget his name.

Would have been interesting to see if kelvin could have retained those blue chip guys as his track record was poor in that department previously. Some 4 and 5 star type players who transferred out off the top of me head:

Also Darrell Arthur was an OU lean I believe. Chose KU after Kelvin's firing.

What about calling Najera? He coached 3 years in the D league and is a scout for the Mavs. That means he obviously knows how to evaluate talent and is only 3 hours down the road.
 
Have a friend who is a Florida alum, and he said Mike White might be available/interested if Joe C. reached out to him. After their loss to ORU, he's in a similar seat as Shaka. Has produced decent results, but the seat is getting a little warm. He might be interested in a change of scenery.

And I believe we played not only against James, but Reynolds as well. A bit strange how that played out for "it's a small world after all."

Only 24 hours into Lon stepping down, lots of names are going to be thrown out there, especially if they have a connection to OU so lots being thrown at the wall right now...

How is being an assistant at a g5 commuter school like Houston making $150k better than making $1mm+ at a top 25 program?

No one is calling your Kellen or Quannas because they aren’t qualified for the OU head coaching job. Houston would be middle of the pack in the big 12 at best.
