I liked Beano; he was like a donkey when compared to the "thoroughbreds" at ESPN. But old Beano probably forgot more about college football than most of those talking heads will ever know.
I wouldnt know. At 45 I always felt Beano was way past his time. I found him to be a Notre Dame homer and very out of touch with reality. I certainly didn't wish him dead but I was never a fan.
