Hard to believe that our win in Manhattan matched OU's conference road victories in the previous two seasons. I can't recall a time in thirty years or more when winning on the road was as tough as it has been the past three seasons.

OU teams of the past have always been about a mental and physical toughness that allowed them to overcome hostile crowds and the inconsistent officiating we saw in the second half of last night's game. That's why it was so good to see a return of the brand of basketball that has defined our program for as long as I can remember. There were some positive signs that this team now understands what it takes to gut out a win when 99.9% of the fans in attendance are cheering for the opponent.

I still can't get over what a great win our kids pulled off against a very good K-State team. Hopefully, that was just the beginning!

What is even more impressive to me is that OU took A&M to OT on the road and then beat KSU. The performance at OSU was not very strong but they did fight to make it quasi interesting at the end. I am hoping these guys can win two more road games this season and 4 more home games.

I think they can and should be Tech on the road. I think they have a legitimate shot to beat Texas and ISU on the road. KU and Baylor will be tough and look like losses but both of those teams are beatable on an off day. Unfortunately I don't think they will be off on their home courts.

Did KU play horribly at Iowa State, is that why KU lost? Not sure if ISU is for real or not but they do seem to be playing fairly well. I would guess we have more of a shot at TU than at ISU.

I wouldn't say that KU had a bad game, they were just outplayed by a team that wanted it more. Every time KU made a run, ISU had an answer.

IMO, this is not the KU teams of old with NBA potential at all but a position or two. Robinson is the only sure bet as a high first round draft pick. Not sure about anyone else. KU is good, but nothing like we have seen in the past.

As for ISU, OU will have to be at the their best to win in Ames. Royce White would start on any team in the country. That is, when he decides to turn it on. The game seems to come so easy for him, it's like he paces himself until the team needs points before ratcheting it up another notch.
