Every time you say "hey poor" toward an OSU fan, I wonder how big of a loser you are in real life.
Even if the guy were in fact poor, it really doesn't mean anything. There are plenty of graduates from both OSU and OU who don't make a whole lot of money but have jobs that impact other peoples lives. I.E. nurses, work for non-profits, teach, etc.
Your comment is just plain stupid and a pretty dense attempt to make fun of someone on a message board. At least come up with something clever that even your fellow OU fans can appreciate and laugh at.
As far as Marcus Smart goes - he is a top 5 draft pick this year. He could definitely use a year to improve his shooting and his decision making at times is questionable for a PG but he doesn't have a bad A/TO ratio, just not the best.
He will be a NBA starter though and it will be up to him to improve his game and become a better shooter and just more polished basketball player.
The way Blake Griffin plays now is really not a whole like how he was at OU. He is probably one of the best examples of taking a guy with raw talent and huge upside who has already shown the ability to play smart basketball and make plays...but then take it to a whole different level in the NBA.
Who knows if Smart can do that...but NBA scouts and teams will give him that chance.
I'm with you on Smart. Think he is the real deal. But dude? Griffin was pretty much the beast he is now that he was in college. Has he become more crafty? Of course. Does he have an even better jumper? Heck ya. But to say that he was just "raw talent" is a off by a lot. The dude dominated every game in his sophomore year that he wasn't hurt in or that was not against North Carolina. Whereas Smart does disappear more often than Blake did in his sophomore year. I think in a different year he may not be a top 5 pick, but he will be this year. He needs one more year and would probably do what Griffin did in his sophomore year. I mean Griffin went from a top 10 pick to #1.
