3-8 record vs top 65 teams. No decent wins away from home. Finished weak. That's smack on the bubble. If we get in it will be solely due to the Kansas win.

Fortunately there are way too many undeserving teams that get into the bloated tournament and we will provably be one of them. We sure dont deserve it.

What was our RPI in 2010 and 2011? Thanks in advance.

OU had a lot of their OOC lose yesterday including Arkansas, A&M, etc.

Did you just arbitrarily pick out "top 65"? We are 2-5 vs Top 25, 3-7 vs. Top 50 and 9-9 vs top 100. We are on the good side of the bubble.

Kind of like your IQ!! Although it hasn't slipped because it has always been low.

Boca, what is wrong with you? I don't care what our record is, if the ncaa tournament committee feels we deserve to be in, who cares?

Regardless of what you think, we have accomplished a lot this year. We have the second most wins against the top 100 rpi in the conference. We will be rewarded because we didn't just go play a bunch of 200+ rpi teams in non conference.

More importantly the team appears to be moving in the right direction. For the first time in several years OU had depth. OU returns a respectable backcourt for the first time in 3 years. There is plenty to be happy about but for a few fans they want to downplay the success to jsutify their opinoins of Capel.

I agree, its very exciting knowing we have plenty of depth coming back. I just have my fingers crossed that we can some how someway fill some of the gap that osby will leave.

Maybe mbaye gets better thats a very good possibility.

Personally, I think the improvement needs to be on the perimeter. I think M'Baye, Bennett and Spangler will be a nice 3 man rotation in the paint. If Hamilton can help out great, plus we know Cam can play the 4 at an effective level. Honestly, his best games have been in conference play and against A&M.

What I think OU needs is a back court that can win games on the offensive end to make up for the loss of production from Osby.

There are 64 teams in the real tournament. Our record vs the top 65 seems relevant.

Capel had a 4-2 NCAA tournament record, a 30 win season and an elite 8 appearance. That is not an opinion, that is a fact. People trying to minimize that accomplishment with their personal justifications are giving their opinion. I deal in facts.

Our RPI is #39, our record is 3-8 vs top 65 teams and we have zero wins vs top 65 teams on the road. Those are facts, not opinions.

When our RPI was in the top 20 I started numerous threads praising our position. I'm simply doing the same as our team has collapsed because objective analysis changes when facts change.

OUr RPI is the only number that has us as a ten seed. The rest of the "Power Rankings" are not as kind. Lets hope they really do focus on the RPI still.

Bottom line is we are light world's better now than we were under Capel, except for Blake Griffin's two years.
